CINEPHILIA: GREATEST FILMS OF ALL TIME LIST
“I’m a movie freak. a purist. I’ve seen thousands of films. Sometimes I watch 6 movies a night. When I was a kid I cut school and snuck into 4 movies a day at the local movie theatre. Films were my therapy from the dysfunction, trauma and child abuse I suffered as a child. In addition, being black in the United States of America didn’t help matters. It was my escape from the my parents, racism, and my low-self esteem. It was a one way ticket out of the reality of my World. My human behavioral studies course. My favorite movies are independent films. You can’t tell me anything about movies. I’ve watched a few films over 1,000 times and each time I notice something I didn’t notice before.”
This column/blog is dedicated to great films and those of us who are passionate about their movies. We might do a film review, an interview with an actor, director, or an essay of the current state of films.
